Infill: the January 22 deadline is now formal

Alberta's cabinet order O.C. 353/2026 (October 22, 2026) requires Edmonton to make RS-zone density, height and uses comparable to the pre-2024 bylaw, and parking comparable to July 1, 2020, by January 22, 2027. Today's RS zone still allows up to eight homes on a standard interior lot, and projects already approved can continue.
